The Blackbeard’s Ranch team will be going to Florida State Rodeo Finals to compete for Florida’s best ranch team competition. Team members are: Jacqui Patton, David Patton, Jake Kastor, Hank Duyn and Joey Drake. Blackbeard’s Ranch is committed to care for our environment, wildlife, cattle, land research, preservation , sustainability and we work and manage our ranch the way generations have before us, with horses, dogs, kids and great Cowgirls and cowboys.
Ranch Jam a Huge Success
What’s better than great music in the great outdoors. Big Red Cattle hosted an amazing three-day music festival March 20-22. The jam-session event was three days of fun, food, camping and great music. The lineup included – Alabama’s Jeff Cook, The Guess Who, Neal McCoy, Restless Heart, Molly Hatchet, Rick Derringer, Hotel California, Highway to Hell, Jack Castro Band and more. Culinary Students Learn About Beef and Sustainable Ag
Forty-five culinary students and a Helps Kitchen finalist spent the day at Big Red Cattle Company learning about beef and sustainable agriculture. While there, they enjoyed Fresh From Florida fare prepared by the the local cowboy chefs: Wayne Wingard, Craig Wolfe, Jason Mckendee, and Steve Johns. No complaints on the swamp cabbage fritters and Strickland Steaks…
